Kelly Tregellas

Kelly Michael Tregellas (Berger) passed away March 22, 2012 at the age of 52, with loved ones at his side. Kelly was a lifetime resident of Whidbey Island. He lived in the Langley area and attended South Whidbey schools. He had many fond memories of his childhood.

Kelly earned his Associates Degree at Western University. He went on to the University of Washington and earned his BA in Electrical Engineering. Kelly then enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country for five years.

After his service in the Navy, Kelly returned to the Island he loved, where he met his love, Gail. They settled down in Greenbank where they spent 18 years building their lives together.

Kelly was preceded in death by his mother Kay, and his sisters Jackie and Kathy. Kelly is sadly missed by his life mate Gail, brother Barry, nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Kelly would have been honored that he was able to help change lives in his final gift of organ donation. Thank you Kelly for your companionship, your friendship and your love. You will always live in our hearts.

“And when you dream,

you’ll do the math.

You’ll find my life

on my epithet.

I cherished life,

I died in death,

I lived my life

till my final breath.

Remember me

as best you can.

God only knows

I was an ordinary man.”
