Margaret Heggenes, a 60-year resident of Clinton, died in Peoria, Ariz. on April 30, 2011.

Born in 1912 to Anna and William Kremer in Seattle, she was a graduate of Franklin High School.

Margaret married Sigvald Heggenes of Clinton in 1933 and lived there until 1994 when she moved to Ballard. In 2000 she bought a condo in Peoria to be near her daughters.

Survivors include her daughters Sigrid Worland and Louise Fitzgerald of Arizona, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years in 1986, her parents and four siblings.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial picnic to celebrate the life of Margaret Heggenes, who died April 30, 2011 in Arizona at the age of 98.

Please join her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Dan Porter Memorial Park in Clinton, starting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13.
