South Whidbey soccer had an-earlier-than-expected exit from the playoffs.

There’s a silver lining for Falcon fütbol fans, though, and it’s in the future. The junior varsity Falcon team smashed its Cascade Conference opponents en route to an 11-0 record, 13-0 overall. South Whidbey’s JV squad won the league for the second year in a row, both under coach Emerson “Skip” Robbins.

Here comes the insanity of the young Falcons’ feat. They racked up 97 goals and allowed only seven scores all season. For the statistician, that’s about .54 goals per game allowed.

The top scorer was Kai Da Rosa with 24 goals and 14 assists. Second in goals scored was Lucas Fulton with 21 goals. Da Rosa, Lucas Leiberman, Kameron Donohoe, Jordan Henriot and Jeff Meier led the team in assists.
